NATIVE GRASS

Hi Ladies,

This year the native grass at Sun Hills seems to be on a record growing pace.  Therefore, the Board is going to implement the "On Course Hazard" rule that we have done several times in the past.

In the future, if you hit a ball into the native grass, whether from the tee or fairway, please hit a provisional ball from that spot.  Then proceed to where your ball went into the native grass and look for your ball.  If you find your ball, under a one stroke penalty, you will take a drop out of the native grass as if it was marked with red stakes.

If, after 5 minutes, you can't find your ball, your provisional ball will become the ball in play so you won't have to go back to the previous spot to re-hit.

This will hopefully lessen the frustration and keep the pace of play flowing!

Thanks for your help in keeping our league the best!
