APRIL 25, 2012, TOSS BEST & WORSE HOLES

Greetings!  We had a great turnout for this last POD!  Congrats to all the winners!

LEAGUE PLAY CANCELLED

Hey Ladies,  Due to the majority of the league cancelling because of the weather, there will be no league play today.  However, those of you who want can still go out and just play regular golf like Judi and I!  Karen, Jeannine and Micheller...you will each have a $3 credit for next week!

NOTICE TO THOSE WH DIDN'T ATTEND THE OPENING SOCIAL

Ladies,  At the Opening Social we gave out a "Goodie Cup" that contained the POD schedule and a tape measure to be kept in your golf bag to measure your Closest to the Hole distance.

If you DID NOT attend the Opening Social, please ask the starter, when you check in for the first time,  for your Goodie Cup.  We don't want anyone to miss an opportunity to win Closest to the Hole because you have no way to accurately to measure your distance from the hole.

APRIL 11, 2012 - TOSS 1 PAR 3 & 1 PAR 4

Greetings,  Well, Mother Nature managed to louse up half of this week's fun.  Over all we had to issue 10 rain checks.  Kudos to everyone who came out and tried to play!  We only had enough ladies to fill 3 flights, so congrats to you all!

Next week's weather promises to cooperate.  See you then!

APRIL 4, 2012 - BEST ON EVEN HOLES

FANTASTIC!  We had great weather for our first week of 2012 play!  We also had a pretty good turnout.  Also, it didn't take long for our new method for "Closest to the Hole" to pay off.  On hole #6, somewhere between 4:00 and the end of play, a smart @#& named "Ben Dover" (cleaver, huh) wrote his name on the card and a measurement of 102".  I was able to ignore him and feel confident that Cindy Johnson's measurement was correct.  So there Mr. Dover!!!

Here are the winners for week 1.  Your winnings will be on record at Sun Hills.  Congrats!!!

OPENING SOCIAL 2012

What a fun night we had!  We got to welcome 6 new members!  We LOVE new members!  We voted to make a change to the By-Laws that will allow us to support Sun Hills by spending our prize money at the course. We heard from Chris O. about what Sun Hills has planned for this coming season.  We got to meet Chris H. with Swing It Again and hear what he has to offer.  Oh yeah...we got to eat also!  What more could we ask for?  Having our Brenda with us, but with her determination that will be sooner that we think.
