Greetings Ladies!

At our Opening Social last week, we had the privilege of meeting our new Pro Mike Bicker and one of his assistants, Stacy Knechtel (connect L).  They indicated that they will be offering lessons and clinics throughout the season. Some will be complimentary and others will be offered for a reasonable fee.  As things start to settle down at the course, Mike will provide a schedule of clinics and lessons.  Stacy handed out the flyer below to show us what she will be offering.

Time's running out to get signed up for the Opening Social on March 25.  It's vital to get signed up NOW so Michelle and her group will know how many to prepare dinner for.

Also, don't forget to get your UGA card renewed prior to March 31!

SUN HILLS' FUTURE

Hello Sun Hills Ladies,

As we're all aware, the rumor mill was working overtime regarding the future of Sun Hills Golf Course last year.  Over the winter a number of decisions were made and I have been given the okay to get everyone caught up.

First of all, sadly, Mr. Mori has decided to retire.  Ownership of Sun Hills has now been turned over to his son, Hiro.  Additionally, Chris has made the difficult decision to not return to Sun Hills.  Rather, he will remain in Japan with his family.

Hiro is dedicated to Sun Hills Golf Course and has pledged to do what it takes to keep Sun Hills open and thriving.  As a result, his first item of business, after receiving Chris' resignation, was to hire a PGA professional.  This past week interviews were conducted and an offer was made and accepted.  Mike Bicker will become the new Pro at Sun Hills.  Mike has been a PGA Professional for many years and is excited to come to Sun Hills for the next step in his career.  We are anxious to meet Mike and get the 2015 golf season started.

Brody Jerman, Sun Hills supetintendent extraordinaire will remain with Sun Hills.  So there will be one or 2 familiar faces around.

Mike will begin at Sun Hills on March 14th and start hiring his staff as soon as possible.  He will be at our Opening Social so we will have the opportunity to welcome him personally.

I have been told that Mr. Mori will be here at Sun Hills on and off during the summer.  This time to enjoy rather than labor.  If you get the opportunity say "HI!",

Aside from planning for food for those who are
attending, we also need a count for those who will be playing in the league this year.

There are some fun new things happening at Sun Hills this year and they will be discussed at the Opening Social.  You don't want to miss out.
