CLOSING SOCIAL POLL

Ladies,  Many of you know that President Tacey is now the proud owner of the Island Buffalo Grill on Antelope Island.  She has a real nice set up on the Island that can accommodate all of us.  She has said that since we do all of our own cooking, she would love to have us hold our Closing Social at the Grill.  She will offer a menu of 2-3 meals to choose from.  She is sure that since the Closing Social is on October 3rd, she could probably work with the Antelope Island Park Manager to waive entrance fees for us.

CHICAGO PUTTS, August 15, 2012 *AMENDED*

Greetings!  We had a significant decrease in numbers this week for Chicago Putts.  Hopefully, our missing friends were getting in a last minute vacation before school starts.  Those of us who participated this week sure had the flat stick zeroed in for the most part.  Of course, shots like Sharon and Micheller for their Closest to the Holes makes for some comfortable putts as well!  Congrats to all of you winners!

AMENDED POINTS FOR "A" FLIGHT TIE

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP AMENDMENT

Hello Ladies,

We have discovered that a math error was made in calculating winners in the C Flight for the Club Championship.  As a result, Kathy Butler is 1st Net with a 71.  This moved Cindy Atkinson and Kathy Green to a 2nd Net tie.  Kelly Montoya and LuJean are in a 2nd Gross tie.  Dara Schofield was not affected.  Fortunately, no lady who was initially listed as winning was bumped off the list.  However, this error would have resulted in the dollar amount for Cindy and Kathy Green to be reduced.  The board agreed this wouldn't be fair, so we will keep their winnings as initially posted.  Below is an amended posting to show the C Flight correctly.  NO OTHER FLIGHT WAS AFFECTED!  We sincerely apologize.

TRACY MONTGOMERY - 2012 CLUB CHAMPION

Congratulations go to TRACY MONTGOMERY, the new Sun Hills Ladies Club Champion!  Tracy shot a fantastic 82 to earn this year's title!

And, congratulations to all the ladies who placed this year.  There were some awesome scores!  

Your prize money will be available at the Sun Hills Pro Shop on September 1st.  If there is a club or bag you were thinking about, you may want to take advantage of Sun Hills' special order service.  There is an order desk in the southwest corner of the lounge area.

Hello!  We had another great week.  There were 55 ladies playing LOW PUTTS.  Some of you had your putters sighted in and ready for hunting the cups.  Congrats to the eagle eyed winners!

There were 55 ladies that signed up for the Club Championship this year.  Remember to be at Sun Hills at 2:00 to register and get ready to shotgun at 2:30.  There will be dinner served after play.  We look forward to a GREAT Championship!
