CRIERS & WHINERS - July 23, 2014
Greetings Ladies! It appears the Pioneer Day holiday took quite a few of our members on fun vacations. As a result, we only had 34 ladies play this week. With so few ladies, we only had 3 flights to "Cry" and "Whine" in. We hope you all enjoyed this POD. Here are the "Whiney Winners" for this week. Congrats!!!

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP ELIGIBILITY
Hi Ladies,
With the Club Championship coming up on August 13, we wanted to make sure that everyone was aware of their eligibility to compete for Club Champion.
According to league by-laws, ladies who have been playing on the league more than 3 consecutive years must have played in at least 5 weekly PODs. Ladies who have been on the league less than 4 years must have played at least 8 weekly PODs.
Judi has compiled a listing of all of the POD's we participated in through July 2 of this season. It also shows the rounds required and rounds remaining to compete. She will update this list weekly so everyone knows where they stand.
If there are any questions on eligibility, please contact Judi. She will also be getting in touch with any of you who may need some help.

THIS SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD READ...????
Hello All,
You may not know it but I have been very busy over the past 2 years putting my thoughts and ideas together in a book about golf.
I am very proud of the results and in order to market the publication, I am asking friends and family to be the first to own a copy.

Chapter 11 - How to find that ball that everyone else saw go In the water.
Chapter 12 - Why your spouse doesn't care that you Birdied the 5th.
Chapter 13 - How to let a Foursome play through your Twosome.
Chapter 14 - How to relax when you are hitting Three off the Tee.
Chapter 15 - When to suggest major swing corrections to your opponent.
Chapter 16 - God and the meaning of The Birdie-To-Bogey Putt.
Chapter 17 - When to regrip your Ball Retriever.
Chapter 18 - Use a strong grip on the Hand Wedge and Weak Slip on the Foot Wedge.
Chapter 19 - Why male golfers will pay $5.00 a beer from the Cart Girl and give her a $3 tip, but will balk at a $3.50 Beer at the 19th Hole and stiff the Bartender.

BEAUTY & THE BEAST
A reminder...this coming Wednesday is Beauty & the Beast. Those of you who signed up, plan on getting to the course with your beasts by 5:00 to sign in. We will be shotgunning at 5:30.

RED, WHITE & BLUE - July 9, 2014
Greetings Ladies! What a wild ride the Red, White and Blue turned out to be! Most all of us were in the same boat (in rough water) although we had a couple of ladies who didn't let it bother their game. Something worth mentioning...our Closest to the Hole winners, Karen and Karlee, achieved their success from the BLUE tees! Way to go! After tangling with a number of scorecard playoffs, here are the winners...CONGRATS!
