DOTS & PUTTS - May 28, 2014

Greetings Ladies!  We had 37 ladies come out this week to test their "Dots & Putts" skills.  The wind sure put a damper on the "Dot" skills for some of us!  Here are the winners!  I hope you enjoyed this POD.  Congrats!

NOTE: POD CHANGE

Hi!  For those of you who logged into the BLOG yesterday and saw we were playing "Blind Draw" this week, I had to change to POD.  Why, you ask?  Because "Blind Draw" requires everyone to have an established handicap and we have a couple of ladies who are still working on that. We have always had PODs that didn't require handicaps until after the deadline which is June 15th.

With that being said, I have switched this week's POD to "Dots & Putts".  See the instructions below.  Have fun!!!

50th ANIVERSARY

After being married for 50 years, I took a careful look at my wife one day and said, "Fifty years ago we had a cheap house, a junk car, slept on a sofa bed and watched a 10-inch black and white TV, but I got to sleep every night with a hot 23-year-old girl.

 

Now ... I have a $750,000 home, a $45,000 car, a nice big bed and a large screen TV, but I'm sleeping with a 73-year-old woman. It seems to me that you're not holding up your side of things."

 

My wife is a very reasonable woman. She told me to go out and find a hot 23-year-old girl and she would make sure that I would once again be living in a cheap house, driving a junk car, sleeping on a sofa bed and watching a 10-inch black and white TV.

 

Aren't older women great? They really know how to solve an old guy's problems!

2014 MEMBER/GUEST 2 WOMAN SCRAMBLE - June 11, 2014

Greetings !  Sun Hills Ladies Member/Guest Scramble is just around the corner.  This year it will be held on June 11, 2014.  There will be a sign-up sheet on our bulletin board table.  To ensure we have enough food and other good stuff, please sign up early.  

Although we would love to have everyone bring a guest,  if your "guest" is your playing partner, just come and play with them.  Be sure to sign up and indicate the name of who you will be playing with.  We would love all of you to play!  

As we have in past years, we will also be sponsoring a "RALLY FOR THE CURE" to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  Contributing to the Rally is NOT required to participate in the Member/Guest.  So please come out and enjoy yourselves either way!

LOW PUTTS - May 14, 2014

Hello Sun Hills Ladies!  Mother Nature rebounded nicely and gave us a pretty nice day for golf last Wednesday.  As a result, the 47 ladies who played were all winners in that respect!  Mother Nature may have been nice, but the Sun Hills greens definitely weren't giving out many one putts.  Here are the eagle-eyed winners of our Low Putt POD!  There were quite a few scorecard playoffs.  Congrats!!!
