POKER HAND, May 22, 2013

Greetings!  Well, the Poker Hand POD is in the books.  We only had 33 ladies play.  As a result it was necessary to reduce the number of flights to 3 in order to have a competitive number of ladies in each flight.

Unfortunately, we had another disqualification last Wednesday for an incomplete scorecard.  This lady was also on the Closest to the Hole #13 at the time Board members played.  There was 12 feet difference between where she landed and the next closest.  Since there was no way to know if anyone may have landed in that area, we thought it would be fair to everyone if we just pulled that marker.  We apologize to Susan Carper who landed within 9 inches.  GOOD SHOT SUSAN!

We try to make all the play on the league fair for everyone!

DISQUALIFICATIONS

Ladies,

This past week it was necessary to disqualify 2 members from the weekly Play of the Day.

One DQ was for not having a current membership in UGA.  The other was for not playing with league members and not having a signed and attested score card.

It is each member's responsibility to know the conditions of play on our league.  The league by-laws are available on the BLOG for everyone to read.  It isn't a pleasant task to have to disqualify anyone from the weekly POD.  Along with not being eligible to win the weekly prizes, your $3 fee is also forfeited.

Please take a minute, click on the "By-Laws" tab and read and become familiar with the league by-laws.  You won't regret it.  If you have any questions, please contact one of the Board members.

CHICAGO PUTTS, May 15, 2013

Greetings!  YAAAY!  We got to play last week!  We had 35 ladies come out and test their putting skills!  Wow, do we have some eagle-eyed members on this league.  Congrats to you sharp shooters!

Due to inclement weather, league play for today, May 8, 2013 has been CANCELLED!

Those ladies who were lucky enough to go out this morning will received credit for their $3 fee.  Just let Tori or Richard know next week so you don't get charged the $3.

According to long term weather forecasts, next week will be absobloominlutely wonderful.  See you all then!!!

GUTTS - May 1, 2013

It took a lot of the POD - GUTTS - to play is week!  Hats off to the dedicated 14 who came out and played!  You all ROCK!!!
